Refund Policy

Purchases on this website

If American Mahjong isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of buying it on this website, as long as you have not revealed your Steam key.

Why the Steam key matters. A Steam key can't be taken back once it is shown, because it can be redeemed on any Steam account. So once you choose "Add to Steam" and your key is revealed, that purchase can no longer be refunded. We ask you to confirm this before the key is shown.

To ask for a refund, reply to your Paddle receipt email or contact us at support@americanmahjonggame.com with the email address you used to buy. Our reseller Paddle.com processes refunds to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

When a purchase is refunded, the license it added to your account ends and the Game will stop working on that account.

If you live in the European Union or United Kingdom: when you buy, you ask us to give you access to the Game straight away, and you acknowledge that your legal right to cancel ends once the Game is made available to you. This policy still gives you the 14-day refund described above, except after a Steam key has been revealed.

Purchases on Steam

If you bought American Mahjong on Steam, refunds are handled by Valve under the Steam Refund Policy. If Steam refunds your purchase, access linked to that Steam account ends too.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank, since we can usually help faster. If a charge is disputed, access to the related license is paused while the dispute is open, and ends if the dispute is decided against the purchase.
